B is for Brussel Sprouts

Welcome to B day (day 2) of my Kitchen ABCs! I previously shared a Brussel Sprout recipe but, I found this amazing new recipe that I think might be a new favorite for me. Literally just ate a plate full of these for lunch today! Hoping to make another B food for dinner tonight but until then, I hope you enjoy this recipe to level up your brussel sprouts!

Ingredients:

  • 1 -1 1/2 lbs brussel sprouts
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions:

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees and lightly spraying a large sheet pan.
  2. Cut the ends off your brussel sprouts and discard. Half or quarter your brussel sprouts and place in large bowl.
  3. To the bowl, add melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and toss until well coated.
  4. Finally, pour in the panko breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese and toss until well coated.
  5. Pour bowl contents out onto baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until tender and well browned.
