Happy Easter everyone!! Although this is a very different Easter this year since we are social distancing, I did not want to miss out on the tradition of having a nice ham dinner. I can’t wait to use this recipe for Christmas as well since it turned out so well! Hope you can use this sometime in the future or for a family gathering!
Ingredients:
- Ham, sliced or while
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 can pineapple rings
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice from the can
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place ham in a roasting pan, cover with foil, and place in the oven plain to cook for 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, and pineapple juice and whisk.
- Remove ham from oven, pour brown sugar mixture over the ham, place pineapple rings over ham, recover with foil, and bake for 1 hour. Every 15 minutes, ladle the liquid over the ham and recover.
- Remove foil after an hour and broil on high uncovered until browned.
- Let sit for about 15 minutes, pour juice over top again, and serve!
