Pineapple Brown Sugar Baked Ham

Happy Easter everyone!! Although this is a very different Easter this year since we are social distancing, I did not want to miss out on the tradition of having a nice ham dinner. I can’t wait to use this recipe for Christmas as well since it turned out so well! Hope you can use this sometime in the future or for a family gathering!

Ingredients:

  • Ham, sliced or while
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 can pineapple rings
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice from the can

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place ham in a roasting pan, cover with foil, and place in the oven plain to cook for 1 hour.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, honey, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, and pineapple juice and whisk.
  4. Remove ham from oven, pour brown sugar mixture over the ham, place pineapple rings over ham, recover with foil, and bake for 1 hour. Every 15 minutes, ladle the liquid over the ham and recover.
  5. Remove foil after an hour and broil on high uncovered until browned.
  6. Let sit for about 15 minutes, pour juice over top again, and serve!
