Peach Crisp Dumpcake

This recipe is one I actually made a few nights ago but didn’t yet have the idea for this blog yet but thankfully I snapped a pic! Credit for this recipe goes to my dad! Often when he has time off, he finds new recipes to try and surprise us with. This was one of them and was an absolute winner with me! While it is totally amazing by itself, I also like to add some vanilla ice cream on top of the warm dump cake to make it even better! Super easy and people will LOVE it if they are a fan of peach cobbler or peach crisp!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cans of peaches (15 oz cans each)
  • 1 box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup pecans (optional)….I didn’t have any so mine was without!

Directions:

  1. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan and preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Pour 2 of the cans of peaches (juice/syrup and all!) into the pan and then drain the third can and dump peaches in.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top of the peaches.
  4. Pour melted butter over the cake mix evenly.
  5. If you are using pecans, sprinkle them on top.
  6. Bake for 1 hour. If you want it to me a little more golden on top, turn on your broiler at the very end but keep a close eye to make sure it does not burn!
  7. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or eat it by itself!
