
Good morning!! This has been one of my go-to breakfast meals for me and my husband, Brian, while we are home! I am a huge fan of the McDonald’s Bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and while this does not taste just like it, this is my at home version! So here it is!
Ingredients:
- 1 Bagel of your choice
- 1 large egg
- 1 slice of american cheese
- 2 slices of bacon
- Jane’s Crazy Mixed Up Salt (optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste (optional)

- I like to start by heating up a medium sized pan and cooking my bacon first until crispy.
- Remove bacon to paper towel covered plate.
- Remove about half of the bacon grease and then crack egg into pan.
- Cook on medium heat to preferred doneness. I like my eggs runny on the inside!
- Remove egg from pan and place on paper towel covered plate as well.
- Immediately after removing from pan, place the slice of american cheese on top of the egg so it can melt into it a little.
- While cheese is melting, toast your bagel in the toaster until crisp and golden brown.
- Put bagel on plate and stack the cheese covered egg on the bottom half.
- Sprinkle Jane’s crazy mixed up salt on top or just use salt and pepper.
- Break bacon sliced in half and arrange on top before putting top half of bagel on.
- Enjoy with Orange juice or a cup of coffee 🙂
