Bacon Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich

Good morning!! This has been one of my go-to breakfast meals for me and my husband, Brian, while we are home! I am a huge fan of the McDonald’s Bacon, egg, and cheese bagel and while this does not taste just like it, this is my at home version! So here it is!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bagel of your choice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice of american cheese
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • Jane’s Crazy Mixed Up Salt (optional)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste (optional)
  1. I like to start by heating up a medium sized pan and cooking my bacon first until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon to paper towel covered plate.
  3. Remove about half of the bacon grease and then crack egg into pan.
  4. Cook on medium heat to preferred doneness. I like my eggs runny on the inside!
  5. Remove egg from pan and place on paper towel covered plate as well.
  6. Immediately after removing from pan, place the slice of american cheese on top of the egg so it can melt into it a little.
  7. While cheese is melting, toast your bagel in the toaster until crisp and golden brown.
  8. Put bagel on plate and stack the cheese covered egg on the bottom half.
  9. Sprinkle Jane’s crazy mixed up salt on top or just use salt and pepper.
  10. Break bacon sliced in half and arrange on top before putting top half of bagel on.
  11. Enjoy with Orange juice or a cup of coffee 🙂
